Starch is a non profit organization founded by Rabih Kayrouz and Tala Hajjar in collaboration with Solidere. Starch aims to create a spring board that launches up-coming designers. Four to six designers are selected every year to debut their collections at the Starch Boutique in Saifi Village in Beirut, Lebanon. Throughout their year at Starch the designers are guided on many aspects of developing, producing, marketing and communicating their collections and brands. Designers also get the chance to take part in collaborations with the Beirut Art Center, the Faqra Fair, as well as the "Starch Me" workshops.
